Too Much Time Alone Triggers The Binge

I did go and eat the Haagan Daz Dulce de Leche cup of ice cream. 270 calories and I thing 26 gram of sugar, lots of fat. I wasn't even hungry!

What I've discovered, spending a lot of time alone, which I do, will more likely result in an eating fest. My best eating was when I lived in Tennessee for 2 years and spent most afternoons outside chatting with the neighbors, often about food. I also am so accustomed to feeling stuffed. I don't know if that is normal or not. I can't seem to get that feeling from from healthy food.

Key learnings:

Get some support, maybe Overeaters Anonymous?
Socialize more, so I am not at home so much.
Research filling foods.

  1. try eating out for lunch with friends - it's controlled, social and fun. Maybe you are a bit lonely during the day

  2. I would agree. I've only lived here 1 1/2 years and while I have a lot of acquaintances, no real friends yet. Thanks for your comments!
